The main reason is warranty length: 5 years or 60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage from the car's original sale date, along with 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain protection. Mitsubishi's certified pre-owned warranty also offers no deductible, which only enhances its status as one of our favorite CPO plans. There are even special financing terms for drivers who choose a CPO Mitsubishi. The only flaw is that Mitsubishi's certified warranty isn't transferable to the vehicle's next owner.*

Certified Pre-Owned Mitsubishi Coverage and Terms:

Purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Mitsubishi vehicle and get:

10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty coverage as the original owner, up to ten years from the vehicle's original in-service date or date of first use, or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first
Remainder of the 5-year/60,000-mile coverage under the Basic Coverage of New Vehicle Limited Warranty
Remainder of the 7-year/100,000 mile Anti-Corrosion/Perforation Limited Warranty

There is zero deductible for covered repairs, and, of course, service is available at any Mitsubishi dealership throughout the US.

Vehicle History Report:

As part of the prequalification process, which is performed on every single vehicle that eventually becomes a CPO, a Vehicle History Report is required. This report includes vital information like both the accident and repair history. It also helps identify cars that don't meet Mitsubishi standards so we can eliminate them from consideration. The result is that when you choose from a selection of certified pre-owned Mitsubishi, you're choosing from the best of the best used cars on the market.

123-Point Inspection:

Every Certified Pre-Owned Mitsubishi must pass a rigorous 123-point inspection by a Certified Technician. Designed to test every aspect of the vehicle to ensure the strictest of standards. Not all cars will make it through, but the ones that do, you can rest assured, are the best of the best.
